A rapidly growing community of artists are working with acrylics in new ways, creating large, graphic, matte and flat works of art. They seek an almost manufactured look – the absence of glare and brushstrokes is critical to creating the uninterrupted fields of intense color that features heavily in their work.
SoFlat is formulated to make it easier for artists to achieve this vision, allowing artists to create uniform fields of rich matte color in fewer layers than our other color lines. This is generally a young and connected audience, many of whom have entered the profession through new paths including street art, illustration and graphic design.
